

DHAMAAL
Dhamaal is a collaboration like no other, designed to explore new possibilities in music. It is a dynamic, energetic & heady mix of south Asian street & classical music with jazz improvisations and a hard-hitting brass band, brought to you by Drum The Bass's project producer Shirin Sriram and award winning composer, music director & multi-instrumentalist Shri Sriram, a master of creating new and collaborative ways of making music resulting in powerful performances.
Collaborating with jazz & south Asian musicians with brass band, the thunderous premiere at Milton Court, Barbican, as part of EFG London Jazz Festival 2025, received a standing ovation with rave reviews and comments from audiences, post the performance.

The 90 minute epic performance at EFG London Jazz Festival 2025 was recorded on multi-track audio and video. We have been awarded a grant by PRS Foundation to do some additional recording, mix, master & release this as an album in 2026! More info on this soon ...
